Stihl 211C Cover Keeps Popping Loose?

Bought the 211C a year ago and had issues with the cover coming loose while using it. Ace finally replaced the cover and things seemed fine for the rest of the season. Got it out recently and that same problem is occurring again. Probably don't have a total of 5 hours of run time on it from last year. I set the cover on, slide it forward until it engages the two front rollers, push down on the cover and make sure everything lines up with the lower case. Pretty much have to palm the rear latch into place while pushing down on the cover. But once locked, it seems to be on very firmly. But while your using it it will pop loose again. Anyone else had this problem? Notice that on the 212C that they've not got at least 3 screws holding the cover on. Frustrating to say the least having to stop and resecure it all the time

Seem to remember reading similar somewhere- unless there is any damage or wear to the clip ears- replacement top is probably the best fix.

This is the only "damage" I can find. Its on the back left side of the cover. Other than it should not be tapered like it is, don't know what it should look like or how long that piece should be? Found this orange piece of plastic out in the yard over the weekend so maybe it's a piece of the cover? Worries me that I invested as much as I did in this unit if this is something I'm going to have to deal with for years to come, replacing the cover ever so often?
