Not much to say maybe! 72 years old done all kind of work in life. Railroad, shipyards, manufacturing etc. Work as a welder, mechanic and labor. Retire now and broke LOL. Work with 1 leg so I don't get around 2 good. Like to piddle with small engines. Don't due to much auto work anymore. One thing I dislike is this throw a way society. Havant, we junk up and polluted mother earth enough. I like make things work like they should if not better than new. Yep, I've work on a lot of chain saws and there quite few now days very pour quality. I got one I think it a Poulan not sure hadn't look at for a while weigh as much as a VW. All Metal. but I had all models. like to cut a little firewood once in a while. What I want here to see what ever one is talking about and get advice. I got 2 Poulin I've working on 1 I need to go back threw I think it a P3314 no spark replaces mag and jumper wires to permeant on. still no spark. odd! My main one is a Poulin P4018WT. Yea I know it a piece of crap. When it decides to run it will run. Right now, I pull my muscles trying to start it. Don't take much these days. I had a sprocket and clutch go out again my 3rd one they don't last very low hours. That sprocket metal sure is soft. The one item I'm now looking into I want to replace the gasket on the gas cap! Everything I've check I been told replace the entire gas cap! It not the vent it around the cap. What! Seriously! at about 9 dollars a pop. I can't find no info on how although pretty oblivious are where you can get a gasket. Maybe at ace hardware. Been thinking about putting a hotter plug in it might start better but it might knock things out of kilter. It does burn fuel pretty good without too much deposited.
