Howdie,
I'm a closet arborist at best, and have a Farmmac F380 (a Stihl MS380 clone-ish). Today I hit a snag, and after searching and searching the net I can't find a solution to a simple question. I'm hoping someone might guide me on the placement of a mystery part.
While cleaning out my oil galley, I inadvertently dislodged a small square plastic part (it has a concave rounded side), but I didn't see where it popped out from. I've looked for Farmmac manuals, no luck, and Stihl MS380 schematics don't show this part. I suspect the part goes somewhere in the passage from the oil port from the tank to the oil drip hole on the bar. But I don't know exactly where it goes. I just don't want to toss in it where I *think* it goes. Anywho, I was hoping that someone might have the same saw, or knowledge of it, and will take a few minutes to snap a pic or write an explaination of where it goes. It would be much appreciated.
