Bent crankshafts a common issue on a saw?

Is it a common issue to ruin a crankshaft on a chainsaw? ex: the crank bends and now the saw his higher resistance and wont start? Just a slight tweak, not from a chain getting too hot and shrinking but from use? My 372xp has issues and cant put a finger on it, seems to be bottom end failure, new bearings did not fix it

Ok, I ordered a new crankcase assembly for my 372xp. That might help diagnose it. This one seems to have high resistance when pulling.
