Hi everyone,

Poulan Pro PP4620AVX here. It had a rough time idling, gave it a good clean and played around with the T/L/H screws and now I'm having this issue. Seems to idle fine, revs up good but if I let go of the throttle it will not come back down to idle and just die. Is my fuel mixture off? Something else?

Attached a video to show what's going on. Thanks!

Dunno, but I've personally found it useful to fix the stupid-simple stuff before looking deeper.
My first to-do when I have any 2-stroke issue is to mix a fresh batch of gas. Even when the not-so-old mix is running everything else, the two-stroke gods appreciate the sacrifice and will often bless my machine and make it run.
When the stupid-simple doesn't work, I look for an air leak or a bad diaphram.

Video diagnosis is a hard thing to do- mic pick up sound differently to what is actually in the room, lots of noise from the saw bouncing on the metal topped bench- but at a guess I'd say pig rich on the H and flooding the saw out coming off WOT then delivering more fuel than the saw can cope with to drop back into the L circuit.
Could also be a metering needle issue within the carb.
