Welcome to the forum. I did get my saw fixed with an equal carburetor and so far all is good. I did some wood harvesting and got myself a full cord and than some.
Thanks for understanding, I didn't want to offend. I've been a mechanic forever and my career was in aviation. I remember when I called and engine a motor and I was quickly corrected. "a motor is at the end of a wire" I was told and have never forgotten.

For fuel I have using can fuel 40-1/50-1 mix. But the price is a bit high. There is ONE gas station that sell ethanol free fuel, so I'll be mixing my own. The brand name of the can fuel is SEF.
The problem with mine was the carburetor and I did replaced it with an off brand. Took me less that half an hour and I had it running. Went out and used it without making any adjustments. Worked just fine. I did make some fine tuning adjustments after I got home. I'm a happy camper. Now I want...
